UPDATE: High School Grading and Graduation Requirements

On Monday, May 11, 2020, the Governing Board made the following changes to grading for high school students and graduation requirements for the Class of 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic and its impact on our students and schools:
  • Grades given to high school students will either be “Credit” or “No Credit"
  • High school students and their families will be allowed to opt-in to receiving a traditional letter grade for each of their courses if they prefer.
The State of California's mandated graduation requirements will be used as the standard for earning a diploma for the Class of 2020. Please review the included guidelines and frequently asked questions for additional information.
