Veterans Day annually falls on November 11 and is recognized this year in Paramount on Friday the 10th. The United States dedicates November 11th to honor and thank all military personnel who served the United States in all wars

On the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month of 1918 a formal agreement to end fighting called an armistice, between Germany and the Allied nations came into effect. Selection of November 11th to honor our veterans, was based on the anniversary of the signing of this armistice.
